The Everett 5K Race Directory has dwindled over the past few years. COVID-19 wasn’t kind to anyone.

I’ve been watching this race since it was last run in 2018. It looks like 2018 was their 4th and final year.
If this race is a big secret and you know the race director please have them contact me. These directories are all about promoting local races.
Solidarity for All 5k

Everett Recreation Center, 47 Elm Street
CANCELLED since 2021
No updates since 2021, I’d say this race has been cancelled. This is too bad since this Everett 5K helped local young people pay for vocational training.
Night Shift Whirlpool 5K
* June 2024
This race was held on June 17, 2023 and was kind of a well kept secret to most of the local running community.
It’s great to see businesses sponsoring running events in their community. Hopefully with this listing we can get more local runners to hop over to Everett for a fun 5K and a couple of tasty brews!
They only had 131 runners for their first race in 2023. Hopefully we can push that to 200 in 2024!

Oh dear, Andy, that would be sad if these races wouldn’t happen anymore!
I hope that you will get news about them soon.
I can imagine that once the pandemic calms down these races will pop back up again.
They did pretty well for a few years and it looked like the running scene was building.
These past few years have been tough though. I’m not sure there will be any races in Everett in the near future.
Bummer, man. I never imagined races wouldn’t survive the lockdowns.
Yeah, it is kind of sad.
All of us are really looking forward to running together again, so hopefully there will be a rebound after all of this.
