The heat map covers activity over the past 7 days through the Saturday before the Boston Marathon. Only runners with Garmin watches are included in this Boston Running Traffic map.

The Esplanade area between the Mass Ave and BU bridges are very popular with runners. Other high lighted areas are also popular, but to a lesser degree.
