2024 registration is open at $40, kids under 12 are FREE! Register two members of your family for $35 each (2 for $70 or 4 for $140)

The annual Housing Families 5K Presented by Greystar brings awareness to the link between health and homelessness. Homelessness is closely connected to declines in physical and mental health. At Housing Families, we serve more than 1,000 families a year through supportive services and eviction prevention assistance.

The race route will take place at River’s Edge Park along the Malden River.

Yoga sessions pre-race

Post run celebration with music, food, and complimentary drinks.

Kids activities include: Balloon artist, face paint, & lawn games.

Kids’ Dash, which includes a complimentary t-shirt

Refreshments and bathrooms will be available onsite.

Grand Prize for the best time is a one-week condo stay at The Fairways on Loon Mountain Ski Resort!

Run Medford 5 Mile and 2 Mile

In 2022, Dave McGillivray brought a new running event to Medford. Community participation was high and we look forward to running the race again this weekend.

Packet pick up Friday is at the McGlynn Middle School from 3:00pm-7:00pm

Friday September 27th activities are at Hormel Stadium.

The evening starts with the naming of the Kids Fun Run. Then the Mayor’s Celebrity/VIP Mile, 6:00 Para Mile and at 6:15 the High School Mile.

Final celebration and closing of the games for the day takes place at Ford Tavern at 6:30 PM.

Saturday September 28th packet pick up is at the Medford City Hall from 6:30AM to 8:00AM. Then at 8:00AM the 5K Jerry’s Run for All Ages, 8:10AM the 5-mile run and 2-mile walk start.

Post race celebrations begin at 8:30 AM at the Run Medford Beer Garden. The Beer Garden is hosted by Medford Brewing Company and all runners 21+ will receive two beer tickets.
